AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Sheikh Khamis Abbas Matupa, the representative of the Mufti and Sheikh of the Pwani region of Tanzania, emphasized in his speech the unity and solidarity of Muslims to assist Iran, stating, "Enmity between Shia and Sunni has no place in today's world; rather, it is a political product created to create division among Muslims."
Sheikh Matupa continued in his sermon, "Iran is the leader of the Muslims. I know saying these words will anger some, but the truth must be spoken. The time has come for Muslims to unite to assist Iran."
"Countries like Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia are closer to Palestine, but they do not help Palestine and have left it alone, as if it is not an Islamic country."
In his sermon, he also noted that recently Lebanon was targeted by missiles that had not been fired in any other country in the past thirty years; hundreds of Muslims were martyred, but not a single Arab country condemned these forbidden massacres.
He also noted that today in the world, many people have been afflicted with Shia-Sunni enmity—an enmity that brings no benefit to Islam. Rather, we must accept that Iran is the only country that will enter the arena to defend Islam.
Sheikh Matupa emphasized that America thought it could conquer Iran by assassinating the leader of the Iranian Revolution, but its calculations turned out to be wrong because they encountered something they did not expect. He added that America thought it could destroy Iran in four days, but that also failed.
The Sheikh of the Pwani region also, referring to the solid structure of the Islamic Republic, said that Iran is governed by a firm and powerful system, and for this reason, even after the assassination of its revolutionary leader, Iran did not waver; rather, it chose another leader, stronger and better. Therefore, America should not think that Iran is like Venezuela, where it can intervene whenever it wants.
